What's New: April 2024
04.05.24: NEW Recording: The Solid Rock. I've recorded this classic Hymncharts arrangement from way back in 2003 for the first time! It now includes enhanced vocal, SATB and instrumental parts, SATB rehearsal tracks, multitracks and transposed chord charts.
03.05.24: New remix for My Blessed Redeemer. 10 years ago my new melody for this classic hymn reached #3 on Praisecharts.com's top Easter song chart! I've now remixed it with those amazing AI plugins to give it a fresh coat of paint and added a solo cello and multitracks. It's a perfect song to close your Good Friday service as it ends on a solemn minor chord.
02.11.24: New worship band mix for Christ Arose. This is in the top five of all the arrangements I've ever done here at Hymncharts so I decided to revisit it this year and give it more of a worship band-driven edge! I've slightly tweaked the keyboard part and added a new pad part along with freshly rendered multitracks just in time for your Easter planning! This new remix aims to give churches with worship bands a simpler version to work with. Without the additional string instruments and parts, it allows them to focus on the core components and imagine the arrangement with their specific instrumental lineup.
01.29.24: New multitracks, instrumental parts: Revive Us Again. Fun geek fact! I've been trying to get the multitracks and instrumental parts mix out for over a week but keep running into weird memory errors and crashing on my 2 year old 64GB memory supercomputer! I thought maybe I had a virus, but no. Then I checked my memory useage and was shocked: I'm using so many virtual instruments (VSTs) in my software that it was taking up the FULL 64GB of memory and crashing my computer! I just upgraded my computer to 128GB of memory Friday and processed the tracks over the weekend. For comparison, my favorite piano I'd use in tracks 15 years ago was 32MB, and the piano I'm using on this track is the Pianoverse Concert grand YF3 at 29.4GB - 928 times larger!!

11.12.23: NEW Christmas Arrangement: Go Tell It On the Mountain. It's ALSO been 9 years since I last arranged this Christmas standard - 2014! My other versions of “Go Tell It” are upbeat - this one is more mid-tempo. I can imagine using it to close a December service - your pastor preaches a sermon to the effect of spreading the Good News at Christmas, then start “Go Tell It.” In fact, try opening a service with “Come Thou Long-Expected Jesus” (below) and closing the same service with “Go Tell It!”
11.02.23: NEW Christmas Arrangement: Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus. The last time I arranged this classic carol was 9 years ago so I figured it was time for an update with a modern worship twist! I'm crazy about the vocalist singing it, too. The original carol only has 2 verses and I always wished there was a 3rd - I had some time this year and thought I'd write one! This arrangement will make the perfect call to worship for any December praise set.
08.07.23: NEW Recording: Crown Him With Many Crowns 2002. Enhanced SATB, 3 part vocals, instrumental parts, transposed chord charts and multitracks. This arrangement is 21 years old and I've now recorded it for the first time! And as with all my old music I've updated (and hopefully improved) the vocals and instrumental parts.
07.10.23: NEW Recording: Grace Greater Than Our Sin. Enhanced SATB, 3 part vocals, instrumental parts, transposed chord charts and multitracks. This arrangement is 17 years old and I've now recorded it for the first time! And as with all my old music I've updated (and hopefully improved) the vocals and instrumental parts.
05.26.23: NEW Recording: 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus. Enhanced SATB, 3 part vocals, instrumental parts, transposed chord charts and multitracks. This arrangement is 20 years old and I've now recorded it for the first time! And as with all my old music I've updated (and hopefully improved) the vocals and instrumental parts.

I've got them arranged and am now in the process of recording vocals. Next will be guitars and then I'll start releasing the arrangements as I get them mixed.

Incidentally, Great Is Thy Faithfulness only came into the public domain in 2019 (I only can publish public domain music on the website.) I worked out this arrangement in my head over a year ago but was still getting better from all my health issues and didn't want to tackle it until now.

This is definately a piano driven arrangement and sounds quite nice with just piano and strings so I included a demo and tracks with piano/strings only.
